IEEE SSCS Utah Chapter Update [Chapters]

The IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Utah Chapter hosted two seminars to close out 2022. first seminar was held as a hybrid event on 15 September, with virtual presentation by Distinguished Lecturer Dr. Mike Shuo-Wei Chen. Local participants were able meet in person at the College of Engineering, Brigham Young University. Chen, University Southern California, shared presentations. presentation, “Trend Digital PLL Design and New Opportunities Spur Cancellation,” introduced methods for adaptively cancelling spurs digital PLLs discussed dither-based spur cancellation techniques. In second “High-Performance Digital-to-Analog Converter Design: A Path Toward Transmitter,” Chen dual-rate DAC architecture accurate high-speed outputs.
